Try 2-person stick curling – a new version of our sport which is growing in popularity! An estimated 3,500 curlers now play in organized leagues around the province.
It can be strictly recreational OR very competitive, depending on your level of interest.
RECREATIONAL
** A 6-end, one-hour game which allows both players to be the skip
** Limited sweeping
** A great opportunity enhance stick-shooting skills for greater success in your regular 4-man games
COMPETITIVE
** Participate in a growing number of mid-week and weekend bonspiels through the season (about 15 spiels this season and likely more next)
** Compete toward a provincial championship – win that ‘buffalo’ you always wanted to win
** Feel the enjoyment again of playing games that “really matter”
Charleswood CC is offering a ‘come and try it’ 2-person stick curling session (1pm- March 31,2025)
The session will include a brief description of the unique rules of the 2-person game and then games.
Open to curlers of any age – 2 men, 2 women, or mixed teams.
The objective is to introduce the 2-person game at Charleswood with the idea of exploring a league for next season – but no commitment except to give it a try!
*Proposed league play would be Monday afternoons 2025-26 season.*
