Friday Night Mixed is an adult fun league, where we welcome and embrace all ages — from single and newly-weds to grandparents, and all curling abilities — from novice to the more skilled and serious.
We are eager to have new curlers join — preferably as a team, but, if you are ‘single’ and want to curl, we would likely be able to connect you with a team. Many teams consist of more than four players (to allow some flexibility on everyone’s Friday nights), but when you play, it must be a ‘mix’ of both genders.
We start after the long weekend in October and go until early March; we alternate between the early (~6:30) and late (~8:45) draws.
Our social committee puts on small Halloween and Christmas parties and organizes a great year-end banquet. The bottom line: We head to the rink on Friday nights to connect with friends and neighbours, and we just happen to get a great curling game in, while we are there!
